Sri A.K. Shantaram had visited Ambalavattam Temple on 18 October 2015, during the 6th day pooja. The photos were taken at that time. He visits the temple every year during Navaratri. We thank him for arranging to send the photos through his sister, Sheila.

We were at Ambalavattam Temple last week. The nada was closed when we reached in the evening. We were about to leave after offering prayers. As luck would have it, the poojari arrived at that time. We then stayed on to watch the pooja and aarathi.
I have clicked all the photos in the evening light and without the use of a flash.

Naga Pooja was successfully carried out at Ambalavattam Temple on 24 August. The pooja was attended by many family members and other devotees. The pooja also included Sarppabali which was done in the evening. Pambum Mekattu Mana Tantri was the chief poojari
A Kshetra Prashnam was also concluded on 24 August. It has been advised to not change the dates of Punapratishta Dinam which is being held annually on 28 March.
The photos are provided by Sri A.K. Umanath. On 27 August he has travelled to Australia to be with his son in Perth. He will be back in third week of October. In the interim, devotees may please contact Sri Eswaran Namboothiri on 94 46 656339 for conducting poojas at the temple.

We had gone to the temple on a Sunday. Poojari had kindly waited for us as the train was late by a few minutes. There were no other devotees at the temple at that time. After the pooja, we got the prasadam and proceeded to travel to Kannur.
The image below is that of the naalam from the Sreekovil. It was photographed at close quarters with my Canon EOS 550D camera.

On Punapratishta Dinam, Deeparadhana was at 6:30 pm and Athazha Pooja at 8:00 pm. The featured photos have been given by Sri A.K. Umanath.
The temple was decorated with flowers and lights.
