  Navaratri Pooja 2021 got back the traditional intensity at Ambalavattam with the Covid pandemic gradually receding. The festivities began on 7 October and ended on 15 October.

  Ambalavattam Temple Punapratishta was on 28 March 2004. Family members gathered from far and near to witness the functions. A team of experienced and learned tantris carried out the punapratishta.

  Ambalavattam Temple Tellicherry has origins stretching back to eighteenth century.  The ancestors of Ambalavattam family settled in Thalassery way back in 1775.  They installed the original deity of Durga Devi in one of the rooms of Ambalavattam tharavad house.

Navaratri Puja 2019 will mark traditional celebrations at Ambalavattam Temple, Thalassery from 29 September  to 8 October. The ceremonies will last nine nights and one day.

Navarathri Pooja

Navarathri Pooja will be from 2 – 11 October. During this period, the temple will be open for pooja from 6:00 to 9:00 am and in the evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. All are invited to visit the temple and attend the pooja.
