Punapratishta Dinam was celebrated on 28 March 2015 at Ambalavattam Temple, Thalassery. Here are three photos of the poojas. Sri A.K. Umanath has provided the images. Click on a photo to see it inside a lightbox.

Family members and devotees attended the poojas and made the Punapratishta Dinam a success. Many of those who could not attend sent their greetings and liberal contributions.

The photo shown below was taken on a sunny Sunday last month. The Jwalamukhi catches the eye.

Here is an image of the big lamp in front of the temple. The background has been thrown out of focus because of the wide aperture in my camera.

I visited Ambalavattam Temple on 11 January which was a Sunday. The poojari kindly waited for us as our train was scheduled to reach Thalassery beyond the usual pooja timings.

Ambalavattam Temple is being maintained very well. This has become possible partly due to the generous contributions which are made every year by family members.

The photo below shows the Jwalamukhi on top of the temple.

A team led by Shri A.K. Umanath is working tirelessly to ensure that poojas are conducted as per schedule and also to keep the temple neat and clean.

Sarpakkavu is in a quiet part of Ambalavattam temple complex. It is in a walled open enclosure. Inside there is lot of greenery. Entry is allowed only on special ceremonial occasions. See three photos from a visit to the temple in October during Navaratri pooja.

The pooja on Vijayadashami day was attended by family members and people from the neighbourhood. A young boy had his Vidyaarambham successfully done at the temple on the auspicious day. Please take a look at the photos.
