As announced earlier, Naga Pooja was conducted on 25 August at Ambalavattam Temple. The chief poojari was Pambummeykkat Mana Tantri. A number of family members attended the pooja.

The four photos were taken at different times and dates. The temple is being maintained in top condition by Sri A.K. Umanath and his team. He is fully supported by the trustees of Ambalavattam Temple Trust. Of course, all the work would not have been possible without liberal donations from the family members and devotees.

Deeparadhana was at 6:30 pm. All the oil lamps were lit up. The temple was beautifully decorated and the overall impact was eye-catching.

I have shown below two photos of the temple with devotees watching Deeparadhana.

The annadanam on Pratishta Dinam saw good participation from people in the neighbourhood as well family members. It was a traditional Kerala lunch served on banana leaves. It was served on tables laid out in front of the tharawad house. The lunch included rice, dal, sambhar, upperi, pappadam, achar and payasam. The food was of high quality. A team of volunteers did a great job of serving the guests.

Navaka Pooja was done after Usha Pooja on Pratishta Dinam. The number of devotees had gone up by that time. You will find 12 photos in the gallery below. Click on a photo to see it large.
