Navami Pooja will be celebrated this year as usual  in Ambalavattam Temple. Mahanavami will be on 22 October, Thursday. Vijaya Dashami will be celebrated on 23 October, Friday.

Donations are accepted in Indian rupees only. This is to comply with Government of India regulations. Cheques must be drawn in favour of Ambalavattam Temple Trust.

Naga Pooja 2014

Annual Naga Pooja will be held at Ambalavattam Temple, Thalassery on 25 August 2014, Monday from 8 am to 12:30 pm.

Pambummeykkat Mana Tantri will be the chief priest. Sarpa Bali will not be done this year. Noorum Palum will be the pooja conducted.

Naga Pratishta Dinam

Naga Pratishta Dinam will be celebrated at Ambalavattam Temple on Monday, 25 August 2014. Sarpa Bali will not be a part of the offerings this year. Noorum Palum will be available.

Discourse by Sri A.K.B. Nair

On Pratishta Dinam, Sri AKB Nair gave a discourse on The Relevance of Worship in the Family Temple. He has given spiritual discourses in many places in Kerala and outside. He has also authored a number of books. You can know more about Sri A.K.B. Nair at haindavakeralam.com.

Sri A.K. Umanath had extended an invitation to Sri Nair who was his college mate at Victoria College, Palakkad. The discourse brought out in simple terms the importance of the family temple in our lives. The sizeable crowd listened with great attention. After the discourse, Sri Nair answered questions from the audience.

Anniversary Celebrations and Devi Pooja

Pratishta Dinam and Devi Pooja will be celebrated on 28 March. The annual family meet will be at 10:30 am. This will be followed by a spiritual discourse on The Relevance of Worship in Family Temple. The discourse will be given by Sri A.K.B. Nair. Annadhanam is at 1:00 pm.

Saaktheya Pooja and Akathu Vechu Kodukkal will be at 3:00 pm on 27 March.
